Blown away!... 991S love it (pic heavy)
Firstly, mods if you think this thread should be merged with my other thread/s please do so.
Sidney the following may help or answer some questions you ask.
I just came back from a 30 mile drive on very twisty hilly roads. Roads that are in my backyard and ones which I would drive in my GT3 etc. All I can say about this car is that it blew me away on pretty much all counts. Adverse camber roads were a breeze with practically zero diving on the front. I tried all the settings and each progressively stiffened the car. I love it! Really a versatile car for everyday driving with truly a Jekyl and Hyde personality. A lot has been made of the steering and yes there is a difference to the 997 but its really nothing significant. The car just feels better planted on the road. My concerns about PDK were also laid to rest. I hated it on the 997.2 so much so that I sold my PDK C4S within a couple of months. On the 991 the PDK tranny is so so so much better. I actually like it!
Overall I am simply blown away by the car. The sport exhaust and the loud popping is just a tonic! A must IMO. Dare I say it?... I may enjoy this car more than the GT3 I had!!!!
Some more pics from the drive today... let me know when to stop!

It's working out better than I could have imagined. For me the pdcc with spasm appears to be the best option I choose.
The roads that I went on today have tested the road holding of my previous P cars. The 991S just ate it up and wanted more! The pdcc was a significant influence. The best fun factor add-on has to be the PSE. My word.... what a grin machine! It enhances the popping on the downshifts in ways that is addictive. You'll want to downshift or take your foot off the accelerator just to hear the popping!

Haku, first off, congratulations on the car and the supreme color choice! Agree 100% with everything you say.
Also, kudos for the photography!
How about we start a new sticky "991 Drives" thread like the "991 Picture Thread" that only contains pictures of great drives? Perhaps even maps? It seems great drives can be relived vicariously... Just saying. Attached are a few (crappy) shots taken on a recent drive of mine. The pics don't do it justice...

I think it's a great idea of yours to start a "991 drives" thread containing pictures, maps, and a textual description of what the drive was like and what made it special.
Your drive and pics are spectacular! The car looks stunning too. The light in your part of the country is magnificent. I need to get out west more often.

Z, your car is a stunner. Definitely bold...and beautiful. The pictures are terrific. I can never get enough of Porsche pics. Thank you.
Thanks Galion.
Hehehe just yesterday I changed the wallpaper on my laptop and iPad to this image.
I'll pm you a link where you can download a higher resolution file. Anyone else who want for their personal use is welcome to pm me.
Thank you LPI. Have you ordered from Hennessy or Jim Ellis?
