C, I'm sure NorCal must be a spectacle in fall colors. Get out there matey!

I had to drive 5 hours to the Ozarks to do those kind of roads.
Thank you Chuck. I'm very fortunate indeed. We have an abundance of perfect Porsche roads (pPr) on our doorstep. Whats better is that we have practically zero traffic and very friendly police. So I think I'll pass on your offer

5 hours to get to some hills and twisties? Oh my!

Yes, thank to mother nature, there are many great twisty roads in the mountain and around the bayarea. I am on it almost every weekend. ; D. Plus the spectacular Highway 1 along the ocean. But a drive in the mountains are a lot more exciting on a beautiful day.

Zero traffic is harder to come by... cyclist, bikes, cars are all out every weekend. But it all depends which section of the road too. I do envy the zero traffic and friendly police ; D

I will say that after getting to the Ozarks, they were some of the most exciting roads I have ever experienced with many switchback hairpins that reminded me of some of my more exotic Cobra gunship flights.

Around Carmel Valley

Long time no post, but last weekend I took her to the mountains of Carmel Valley near Laguna Seca to enjoy the early spring we get here in CA. Enjoy!

That drive looks wonderful and you've got the best car for those roads. Glad you're getting good weather there.

Thank you for sharing.

Calaveras Rd — Sierra Rd

Long time no drive, unfortunately, but I finally was able to take her out again last weekend into the golden hills of the SF East Bay, around Calaveras Reservoir and then Sierra Rd, which offers stunning views of the South Bay and San Jose.

There was nobody on the street, except perhaps 2 motorbikes and 3 cars in a span of 45 minutes. What a privilege to have such drives nearby!

Enjoy!

Here is the track:

On Calaveras Road. The mountains in the background are typical for the area.

Calaveras Road

Looking good in the golden countryside!

On Sierra Road, high above San Jose.

Downtown San Jose in the back.

And my favorite, just before heading back down into the South Bay:
