Confused about Exhaust!

Confused about Exhaust!
So my 991S does not have PSE and I'm supposed to take it to my dealer in 3 weeks for PSE installation. Having surfing here, I'm beginning to think I should go aftermarket. I'd hate to pluck down $3,500 or so for PSE only to wish I'd gone with some other exhaust later.
I'm going after a nice exhaust note, not overly boy-racer, and any additional power is just a bonus to me.
What should I do, stick with PSE or go with aftermarket set-up? If AF, which do you recommend?
Thanks

I'm one of those that want to stick with keeping my car stock and Porsche supported. Hence my recommendation to go with PSE. A few issues that are related.
1. Most aftermarket systems tend to be louder
2. Due to the relative newness of the 991 I doubt the aftermarket exhausts will have been tested on this platform as extensively as they will be in a few years and have kinks worked out. Porsche will have tested their system extensively before offering it.
3. I'm not sure that the manufacturer warranty would not be compromised should something go wrong with the car and the aftermarket exhaust be a cause
4. I just love the tone of the PSE as it is. Not too loud...just right for me. I'm sure you're going to be happy with it.

All I can say as I have said in several other posts I absolutely love the sound of the PSE it is by far one of my favorite options on my 991. If your not overly concerned about HP gain I would say its a not a difficult choice.

I have installed 2 aftermarket systems on other cars (Fabspeed and AWE) and although they were definitely cool, this new 991 Porsche Sport Exhaust is really great. I'd do the PSE - it's intoxicating.

I have the PSE. we just got back from Daytona. We did three parade laps and with the PSE it sounded like a race car. On the 75 mile intersate trip home with it turned off you could hardly here it. I wouldn't buy a Porsche with out it. Next time I will get the Ceramic brakes as the brakes on these cars make way too much dust.

FYI, I just posted this on my own thread.
I love the PSE and do not intend to go aftermarket. The only change I made (after this video was shot) was to install Fabspeed headers with 200 cells converters. It made the exhaust a little bit louder (both in PSE on and off mode) and the throttle a bit more responsive. I found it to be a great combo with the PSE and it is 100% bolt on and reversible with only one hour work if you wish.
