Nice. But...
I just can't get used to that center exhaust. I can't get used to it on the Boxter either.
Dunno, just prefer them on the sides as they are now. Not a biggie I know but it is enough for me not to get one. I'll stick with the Carrera.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see it only available in PDK. After all, look at the direction Ferrari went...no more manuals period.
At it's core, the GT3 is supposed to be a performance car, and whether we like it or not, the simple fact is that PDK makes it perform better and drive faster.
It'll upset a lot of manual transmission lovers...but we'll get used to it once we see how fast it is.

That rear bumper in the pics still has camo on it with stick on reflectors...

Not enough for what? bragging rights? I'm pretty sure it will be a lot faster than the 997 GT3, just like the 991 Carrera is faster than it's 997 brothers.
And the 997 GT3 RS was hailed as one of the best drivers car ever, and it "only" had 450bhp as well. The hp number seems to be very important to a lot of people.
Isn't it more relevant how fast the car is rather than what number it says after "Horsepower:" in the owners manual?

1. re the HP number: check out the link below. Seems to me that what differentiates a very good GT3 from a spectacular one has more to do with other factors than HP:

2. Re the possibly no-manual option: I'm a big PDK fan especially on the track but I think it's a huge mistake. Most guys who track prefer MT's. I think Porsche would lose a lot of potential 991 GT3 customers if these guys couldn't row their own gears.
