HansGT2 is infamous around these parts
I'd greatly appreciate if you described how you took out the back rests for the rear seats. That central support bearing assembly has defeated my efforts so far. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I know what do you mean. I was also struggled with this central lock part however here is the solution;
This central support has two pieces front/rear connecting to each other.
1st step is to remove the rear part , just lift it up from behind and this rear part should come off easily
2nd step is to remove the front part, this is a bit tricky. This part is locked to the central car body by two plastic clips and It is very tight so you need to push out the sides first then pull out toward the front of the car, I found that it is easier to do if you have remove the rear seat first.

Hope this help

My sincere thanks, jambon, for your prompt and informative response. I had gotten as far as removing the rear plastic part, but couldn't figure out how to remove the front part. Now it's all clear.

Jambon, Can you elaborate on how you fixed the rattle in the Alcantra Roof Liner? Mine is driving me nuts and paranoid to let the dealer touch it. Thanks!!

Thanks for all the photos and "how-to" remarks!

UPDATE: This thread just indirectly helped me fix a rattle that the dealership failed to fix three times. Awesome!
