A Proud New Owner
Hey all! FTPLTL (First time poster, long time Lurker)
Anyway, I decided to finally register to the site as my wife won't listen when I start talking cars. It's sorta like, 'Hey honey, my car blah-blah-blah-blah.... love you too!' Now I have somewhere to talk.
Anyway, I got my Aqua Blue 991 back in February and already have 21k on it. I have gone through two rear tires, all the recalls, and possibly even started a new recall after having a new transmission installed. I am proud to say I love the car and the wife is tired of hearing my drone on about it.

Funny first post hehehe.
Welcome to 6speed!
Sounds like you went through quiet the roller-coaster in your first 21K... that said, good to hear you still love your 991.
Cheers!

Photo is not from Orlando. From just outside Oatman AZ on Route 66... that's for another post.
The transmission is a PDK. It happened around 19k miles back in October. I brought it in for a couple of 'campaigns'. During routine inspections they noticed some liquid on the pan under the engine. Couple of runs and refills later, still leaking. So PCNA referred it to Germany and a new transmission was sent out. I was told that Porsche did not want the guys to work on the unit, just replace it and go from there. I never noticed any issues at any time. I asked one of the guys to send me photos. You can see the fluid on the bolt just under the hose.
Can't say there is any difference before/after. I'm just glad they noticed it before the warranty ended. It could've been a tad expensive.

Welcome! Know what you mean about not being able to talk cars in most circles without sounding like a dbag.

Welcome Chup!! Love that photo. Happy to know your dealer and Porsche are taking care of you. This is a GREAT group of P-Car people that are always willing to give as much, if not more, than they take.
