Since I had the Xpel installed was told to NOT wash or wax for at least 7 days. Since I have been driving in the rain and snow each day, the car is far from clean, however it is supposed to be sunny on Saturday so I will take a few shots to post.
Just loving the car right now. I have driving our LR for the past couple of years to you can imagine how different this car is in every way. I just smile non stop when I'm in it. The Berm is incredible! It's probably a bit silly to some but I went out to the garage last night and just sat in the car listening to music, man is that 1 amazing sound system!! Then today on the way to work I listened to the other sound system, PSE! Man I love this car! Can't wait for a sunny day with dry roads, and of course the end of the breakin period!!

Awesome - love the red interior, btw! Yeah, the weather could cooperate a bit more, but considering it's been a relatively mild winder there's not too much to be unhappy with.

Break-in is definitely the next challenge - I'm at 750 miles now after about 6 weeks. Hey, I work from home and am finding every excuse that I can to get out... You should see how few miles the other cars get!

Re the Porsche Valve Stem caps. My dealer won't put them on as the material they're made out of and the valve stem material can react and the cap can get frozen to the stem. I actually experienced this on another car and we had to demount the tires and have the TPS system valve removed and replaced at a significant cost by the time it was done.

I'm going to recheck this again with the dealer next week.

I have never heard of that. Does seem strange that the dealer would sell them with that potential problem. I might just take mine off now to save me the worry! Thanks for the tip. I'll ask my dealer the next time I'm there.

It was the Parts department specialist that warned me about it. He wouldn't sell them to me for the new car.

The wife bought me mine from Suncoast. I'm sure it was just an online transaction, however I'd expect a warning message on the site though.....
