Eau de Porsche

A recent thread hailed the conditioning and scent properties of the Chemical Guy's leather conditioner. I figured I would give it a try. It promptly arrived by FedEx and yesterday afternoon I cleaned and conditioned the front seats. While I noticed the smell of the conditioner I was unprepared for this morning's olfactory treat! The stuff restored the full wonderful punch of the scent of the first day i took delivery of my full leather beast.

I wonder if they make an after shave?

lol. I haven't used the Chemical Guys conditioner, but Zaino Z10 Leather in a Bottle also has a good, leather smell to it. It's one of the only products of their's that I still use after migrating away to other products through the years.

You know, those titles don't sound right, 'full leather beast', 'Leather in a bottle'. Taken out of context, it sounds like I'm on an BDSM forum. Not saying I know anything about those.

Back on-topic...

I posted earlier about how I like Zaino Z10 Leather-in-a-Bottle. The problem I have with Zaino products is that you have to order directly from them. I'm not certain why it bothers me so, but it does.

After reading RNL's post about Chemical Guys having a similar leather conditioner (and knowing that a lot of these products are actually made by the same companies behind the scenes), I was curious.

I've known of Chemical Guys products for years, but have never tried any previously as I've always been happy with what I am using.

Chemical Guys Leather Conditioner is available on Amazon Prime, so I put in an order the other day. It just arrived and just from the smell and texture I would say that these could very well be the same product with a different dye.

Zaino Conditioner - $10.95 - 8 fl.oz.
Chemical Guys Conditioner - $12.54 - 16 fl.oz.

So the Chemical Guys product is more easily acquired and costs nearly half the price per fluid ounce.

Win!

Thank for the heads up RNL.
