I agree with rapture1 on the wheels. Something very bright in the silver/chrome family would work better for me. JMO. And I have seen this color on a Pan Am with beige interior outside in the sun and it was terrific. I am not sure I like it as much on the 991. But it is a great color.

I'll be picking this up in a couple weeks. Already planning on doing some brighter wheels, probably HRE mesh type, in the spring. It's a great subtle color, I didn't want to go flashy and the agate just wasn't doing it for me.

Congratulations on such a beautiful car.

Please post pics of it with the new wheels when they get installed.

That is a great color. I was just thinking that I would like to see a nice blue-grey type of color on the 991. That's the best non-standard color I've seen to date!

I quite like the wheels as they are but would get rid of the alu window trim and go with standard black or painted same as wheels. I think on this combo clear tail lights and blank color coded rear reflector covers would look nice as well.

As other have stated, it will be nice to see the color in daylight. Overall like it hugely... congratulations!

I'm going to paint or swap out the trim. I'm going to keep the red tails and reflectors unless I decide to paint the calipers, as I like how they tie together currently.

I couldn't agree more. I made the mistake of getting a Sapphire Blue 911. Pretty color but ultimately too flashy. I just traded it back in to the dealer and am about to order the PTS Yachting Blue. Could you please tell me what the interior color is? It's hard to tell from the picture and I keep going back and forth about what looks best.

I agree on your assessment. The dealers aren't as smart as us consumers

In addition to the Turbo AJag? Or are you getting rid of it?

Looks amazing. Love the subtle hints of colors from different lighting conditions. Congratulations.

What a gorgeous color. I wish I had seen this color back in 2002 when we ordered a Diamond Blue paint to sample 4S. The yachting blue is the color we had in mind but couldn't find an example. Next time...
