Ship - Bangkok Hwy Vessel due 2/23

Sales manager just send me an email today saying that my car is on a ship called the "Bangkok Hwy", I am assuming this is abbreviated for Highway. It says the ETA is 2/23 but not which port. We are in CIncinnati so I have been told it will be Rhode Island.

I have seen a lot of posts about cars coming off the line - curious if anyone is in the same boat - pun intended.

Davisville, Rhode Island was the first stop my boat made on it's way to Brunswick, GA last week.

I got the same email from my dealer, which is strange as I was told my car was on vessel at the end of Jan and Bangkok Highway didn't even make port in Emden until the 6th of Feb. In any event, it will stop in Davisville RI to drop off our cars. I bought my in Cleveland so we'll probably end up getting them at about the same time.

The Bangkok Highway is due in Davisville on the 18th, then Houston on the 25th then Veracuz, Mexico on the 27th. Don't be surprised if it's late by a day or so as some of the ships have been rerouted further South than normal due to storms.

CO997 what are the details on your car? Mine is a C2S MT Cab - Dark Blue Metallic. I am quite excited.

John, you have it in 5 days earlier - is your info pretty accurate?

I have seen the white/red/red in pictures and it is striking. You/it will get noticed!

I also got the PSE and SC, Burmester, full leather, etc. Dealer told me the sticker will be $142K+ even though it was only $138K when I ordered it pre-increase. Told the wife we already made $4,000!

I really like DBM, it was my second choice. If you haven't seen pics of DBYT's car give it a look its fantastic. You will love yours. I also got Berm, can't wait to hear it. Between Berm and PSE I think we have a pretty amazing sound systems!

No, my dates I have are the dates that the shipping line posted back in January for their February ships to North America.

That will be another beauty, John. You guys will have to post some pics.

Where did you get your spare floor mats? (I need a set). I will check out the Cabriolet Jacket although that might be a little too much for the wife.

Wow there are a lot of those cabrio jackets. Which one did you pick? Thinking my wife would shoot me as I already have about 2 closets worth of jackets. But some of those look cool, might have to sneak one

I hate to sound cheap after forking out over $100K for a new car, but, wow, those are some expensive garments. Think I will pass, maybe get the wife some new diamond earrings or something...

I buy them direct from Heinz Bauer Manufakt. I have the Original Cabrio Jacket (3 different ones) and one of the heavier (can't remember the style).

I have a tough fit as my arms are shorter than normal. I was actually at the factory (Heinz Bauer) and got measured for the first one. Now I just email and say what I want and they have all my size information and each one ordered subsequently has fit perfectly.

I have contact information if you need it. Yes, they are expensive but top quality german leather is just that. Top quality! Try pricing a Porsche Design leather jacket someday. Same price range and much less quality (not talking here about the ones sold in the Porsche dealerships/site).
