So I walked into the Porsche dealership...

I had a similar tail. Had purchased a 997 C2s cab only 10 months earlier. Was still in honeymoon territory. Went to meet a friend who was a salesman, just to take a look. Remind me to stay out of expensive watch stores. Congrats. It is a great color. Drive it in great health!

Congratulations. I'm in the process of trading in my turbo (ran out of cpo) for a new c4s. Third car I bought from the same salesman (who is a great guy and a real pro). Dang 911s are like crack.

I never put the top down on the 997 C2S or my previous Boxster S so I went with the coupe as I liked the looks and visibility better.

And we both made a good choice. Truth be told, it would not have been bad too keep the 997 either. Drive in good health!

Biggest problem was living in fear of birds ( when the top was up). The material was hard to clean without leaving a spot and you could not rub. It looks great, but the vinyl on my Mustang drop top is much easier to maintain.

What a fantastic community this is. Humbled to be part of it. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.
T-minus 12hrs to liftoff (pickup)
Question is will I still have my drivers license after a 250 mile drive from NY to DC?
Will have to show restraint which lets face it, is unlikely. The car will be screaming go, I'm ready and I know you want to...
