TOPCAR 991 4/4s Widebody Build NEW UPDATE!! NOW WITH CLAY :)

TOPCAR 991 4/4S WIDEBODY BUILD


TOPCAR is very excited to start on its 991 4/4s widebody project. The car has been stripped and 3d scanned. The clay modeling has just started. We anticipate to debut the car in June 2013 and to have the US debut at the Pebble Beach Concourse in August. Subscribe to the thread and follow the design process.

So we just finished the clay process. The car will be re-scanned again and the molds will be made. The car should be complete around June of this year.

Love the look.

My car being the same color, seeing it with that film or spray on it made me wince. That is a dusting or what? Just curious

Its a spray used for the 3d scanning process. Its kind of tough to handle sometimes when we take a brand new painted car and go to town on it, but its definitely worth the end result.

Clayed car or with of tools parts for June completion?
Love the menacing look and yet very clean lines.

The clay process if pretty much done now. We only clay half of the car and the computer will create a mirror image of the other half. The car will be fully built with all the carbon bits inside and out by June
