just turned 32 and got my 991 S on January, had my e92 M3 at 27, my e46 M3 at 21 and my e36 M3 at 16, so I was an M guy, but this car is on another level, I love it so far

My wife and I met a man at the Amelia Island Porsche 50th celebration last weekend who just got his new 991 for his 81st birthday. Hope that we can all do that.

It's not amid-life crises, its a mid-life opportunity.

It isn't like we all woke up one morning suddenly decided we wanted a hot car. More than likely we had them on our walls, we covered them, we dreamed of owning one.

Then one day, we could finally afford to buy one.

Opportunity, not crises

I'm now 66 and have owned the most sought after cars (all brand new) since I was 16. Hard work and staying focused are key. Oh, yeah, I guess I should mention that I've been retired for the last twenty years. LOL

I would suggest that you could superimpose a bar chart with the same age bands with responses to the question: Do you have or will soon have children in college? Results would be inverse.

My 991S is my second Porsche, the first was a Cayman. I'm 62 and have owned numerous sports cars, but I have never owned a more versatile and enjoyable car than my S. These 991's are velvet sledge hammers!

69 here. My 991C2S continues a mid-life crisis that started at 30 when I realized that Porsches are one of life's necessities.
