Is this a decent lease price?

2013 C2S cab, final price of $124K (after discount). 10K miles per year
Total cost is:
$5K upfront
$1892/month for 24 months (includes taxes and fees).
Sounds decent to me, but I'm not a numbers guy

Stupid question here: ask for an extra 3 months at paying $1892/month, or pay the same TOTAL amount over 27 months that I'm paying over 24 months? Ask for extra miles too?

Why go with 27 month? you will end up paying for another year in DMV fee's on regristration that the dealer will avoid paying.

Terrible deal assuming the rates are similar to march, keep in mind the rates expired april first so they very well may be different. In march your car would have a 74% residual and the base rate was .002 or 4.8%. Assuming a 7% discount off msrp and 7% sales tax and 5k down (cap reduction) your payment falls into the neighborhood of 1400 per month.

Do some quick google research on calculating leases and use this calculator

http://www.calculator.com/pantaserv/...brand=calcsite

Whatever you do do not pay an extra 400 per month for no reason : )

EDIT: just realized that residual was for a coupe, there may be an adjustment for cab....also not sure if your build exceeds the mrm (max msrp that can be residualized) on my c2 the number was 106k. Either way it sounds high. If you google edmunds 991 lease you will find the townhall discussion forums on the 991. You can post and ask for the new lease rates, specific to your build and a gentleman named carman will give you the up to date residual and rates. Then plug them into the lease calc and voila! Tell your dealer to reconsider.

I decided against the 27 mo lease as my SA told me porsche will extend your lease a few months upon your request. Plus the payment reduction is negligible. I consider it an option for me to get out 3 months sooner at little cost.

Lower payment. The deal offered is crazy high. The 27 months help lower the payment a bit. Porsche will also let you out 12 months early if you buy another P car so anything to lower payment helps.

Don't forget 'welcome to Porsche' credit of 3 x monthly payment of competitor lease

We don't have this problem here so my response would not consider it.

monthly lease price depends on money factor (porsche best credit rated customers were getting .0020 mf), residual (C2S coupe on a 27th month lease was 72%) and purchase price. given these factors, with porsche incentive (3xlease as cap cost reduction), payment should be about $1500ish (without taxes). residual is based Porsche MRM - a value they assign based on retail price less some value. Hope this helps. I think a $124k car MRM is aboutt 119K

Wow! That seems like a great deal. How many miles/year? I have a 13C4S on order with $141K msrp and a 6% discount but the quotes so far don't come anywhere close to your numbers. My delivery is in July so I'm waiting a bit to get updated numbers. I'd appreciate any other info you can share as financially at least our cars are similar.
