Thanks - very excited by the leather visors (black with red stitching) and the fuse covers (red leather with black stitching). I felt the red leather with red stitching so far down by your feet would go unnoticed...so I tried something different. The black leather visors (they came black as stock) will work great, and wanted to add some spice with the red stitching. Should have both of these parts early week. Can't wait. Exclusive Option has done a great job so far. Really thrilled!

There are some trim pieces painted black instead. But those carbon touches are the bomb! I will have to look into this more.

I need to do something about the glare.
I look forward to your next development!

You could always have your center piece painted another color - maybe black, etc...or something else that would not have glare...that piece just pops right off...easy to get in and out...

Jeff,
Glad to that Exclusive Option is working out well for you. I was happy with the centre console they did for me too. I am still waiting for MA Carbon or someone to come out with the carbon door panel strip, the piece above the interior door handle. Completely kicking myself for not ordering direct from factory.

Yeah, from what I understand that has to be done at the factory, but it is indeed odd that nobody can make a carbon version to replace it...can't be that hard to replace. Has John at MACarbon said anything? Working on it?
Thanks for steering me to Exclusive Option. They are terrific. Love their quality and the way it turned out so far. Excited for the rest of the parts to show up.
Jeff

Those are some nice upgrades! I have the factory ordered carbon pieces too, and I must say, that CF shifter looks pretty nice!

I ordered the center tunnel with stitching option so I already have the center console with stitching, but I think that whole package was a rip off at almost $1200. How much did that center console piece cost?

Also, what is this Exclusive Option you're speaking of? Is this Porsche Exclusive, or an independent company?

Thanks!

I think that the CF shifter should also be considered by those people wiith pdk and luxor beige interiors. The luxor interior is beautiful, but the pdk **** being in luxor --while surrounded by the black center stack/console-- is somewhat awkward looking. The black CF shifter would look better, imo. (Note: those with luxor interiors and the 7sp Manual tranny have their shifter in BLACK, not luxor beige)

Like PorscheCrazy mentioned, Exclusive Option is a California customization company that specializes in high-end Porsche leather aftermarket pieces. Really upgrades the interior and customizes the little details. For example, I have always hated the plastic visors with large yellow stickers (airbag warning) and on a cabriolet, you see those things from far away...a crappy detail. Since I have not ordered a Porsche (always seem to get them off the lot) I usually end up with some features I would have upgraded...like the visors. This is a company that offers a perfect solution for me. Check them out! Frank is really easy to work with and they get stuff done fast.

I agree - having the PDK gear shifter in carbon is a lot nicer than the OEM carbon package shifter (mine was red with two silly carbon circles that you can't even really see). This shifter is just so much nicer, to my eyes. I agree that the other colors (beige, etc...) really benefit with this MACarbon shifter - would probably also be easier to keep clean. I am so glad that there are these great aftermarket Porsche-specialist companies that offer these great choices!

Got some more parts back from Exclusive Option today...the fuse covers in leather (got black stitching) to draw more attention. The normal fuse covers are black plastic, and on the red carpet, kind of noticeably ugly. I think these are a nice improvement. Here are some pics.

Nice work Jeff, the car looks great! I do agree the quality of work from exclusive option is superb. Recently had my steering wheel refinished with Alcantara with a red rs stripe at 12 o'clock. It turned out great!

I am thinking about the center armrest and maybe a couple of other items from them...
