Here's Shell's advertisement. Of course, the intake valves probably don't need this as much with our DFI engines.

(emphasis by me) whereas the US (or German) equivalent doesn't mention it:
Presumably, Porsche didn't simply forget the "very important" note to use additives in these geographies
But it also seems very odd where porsche is very confident offering "warranty extension" up to 10 years (including engine) where they note the "important" use of fuel additives on that region, which they don't offered on US or German equivalent page that has no fuel additive note.

But notice they don't mention a price I'd love to sell a Chinese gazillionaire a $200k car plus extended warranty if it has a decent margin and helps the gazillionaire's peace of mind

I have no idea how the Chinese nouveau-riche think, but I'm sure Porsche has!

It is the local import tax that make up the price, porsche gets the same .
But I'm sure porsche liking less talk but cash buy habits from the Chinese.

A very experienced engine builder told me to never use octane boosters/fuel additives. Just get the best fuel you can get. I've seen two tests comparing HP output using different fuel brands, one test in US and another one in europe, and Shell came out on top in both cases.

For example, they say (granted, more so on domestic sports cars over imports) that a good octane booster will help the fuel injection system run at peak performance, such as a tank every 1,000 miles or so with an average American octane of 96-98, not European RON of 98 (American 91 or 93.)

I am not only interested in the over-the-counter additives such as STP or Lucas Oil but also more racing orientated additives. Basically, I just want my 911 to run at peak performance with the best possible stuff that everyone recommends and I can get.

Thanks for everyone's input!
