No experience with that camera, but if you read the below thread you will see I have a rear camera wired directly intom my PCM. More than $100 but I negotiated into my purchase.

Hi Michael and Ale. Sunny991 - I am going Michael's route, I am even going to his dealer to have it done. $1,500. But it is seamless and with a dealer doing it, if it were to be identified as the source of an electrical problem later, I am not going the hear the "you violated your warrantee by this mod" lecture.

You are absolutely right! It may have been just the perception, the difference in color....and on top of that, it's 'how you use your wing' that counts!

I don't know about you, guys, but the 991 is SO SHORT. Every time I park it (no parking sensors) I think I can't get any closer to the wall, and when I get off there are 2 feet at least....tricky back!

I personally just prefer a backup camera. Maybe because I have had one in my last two cars. Thus, I have become very use to having one and have come to think of having one as standard as power windows or cruise control are now. Especially considering the cost is so minimal. At least from factory option standpoint. Porsche will soon add one, at least as an option I would bet.
I would get one aftermarket on my 911, but it's $1300 for the fill integration (not bad), but it's a 2-year lease.

I've got to admit, I wish I had included the backup camera. Fortunately, I don't have that many occasions to parallel park but every time I back up in an unfamiliar place I wonder if I'm going to run into some object.

Mine will be installed a week from Thursday. It will be a great help. I wish I had one in front. I find the front sensor to be mostly useless. It comes on late and often does not sense the cement parking barriers that have knocked off my front "splitter" several times. There also should be a sensor to let me know it fell off, again! or maybe I just need stronger glasses
