Blacked out Sport Design wheels

Hi All: I will be painting my wheels black soon and will be going with gloss black and a red perimeter (paint matched to brakes). Has anyone seen this done to the sport design wheel? Any thoughts on that approach? Some of my friends are saying i should do matte black with red, or just matte black. I understand everyone is going to have their own opinion, but curious what folks think would look best. My car is white with dark tints.

I would go in between with a satin black finish. I really like the look of my satin finished platinum wheels. Satin black with red pinstripe perimeter could look sweet. Best of luck! Must post photos when you have them painted.

I'm not sure SD wheels in all black would look good, although I do like the wheels on the link. Oh, I also like mine .

sorry for the multiple posts in this thread, but here is a pic of my car. Any photoshop specialists able to apply black and red to the wheels?

+1, gloss black doesn't look that good imo. Satin black looks better with pinstripes, it also hides brake dust.

I have white car with black wheels. Mine is Satin Black. Which is in between Matte and Gloss. I heard matte is hard to clean. Gloss is too "shiny".

I am not sure about the Red Perimeter. I think a different color perimeter will look good with 21" wheels. Doing that may make the 20" stock wheel look smaller. I could be wrong.

I didn't do it with the Sport Design wheels per se, but I think it would look good
