Back from European Delivery
I came back last week from European Delivery of my 2013 C2S Cab and I wanted to leave a quick note of my experience
I arrived at 8:15 at the Porsche Delivery center and after a cup of coffee I was shown my car! Looked amazing. To my surprise I found out that the leather around the gear shift was in red leather (the configurator shows black). Anyway, the red leather interior together with the carbon fiber trim is just stunning!
After going over the car for about an hour and a half, we took the factory tour. Very nice to see how the cars are build and really makes you appreciate some of the craftsmanship that goes into this car (mainly the leather workshop)
A couple notes about the "break-in" period.. .basically the folks at the factory told me there is no break in period besides from varying the RPMs... so with this important knowledge, it's time to drive off...
Wow wow wow, what an experience... this car is made for the autobahn!!!
The throttle blip is an addiction.. don't know why you ever want to turn Sport+ off.. Going from 3rd to 2th... OMG! This really justified getting a manual transmission, it's so much fun!!
The speed is also amazing.. you have to keep it above 3K RPM but then it keeps on going and going!! I have had it up to 170MPH and it felt super solid!
I went for the Bose stereo and it's more than adequate and most of the time I was listening to the engine anyways.
All in all a fantastic experience that I would recommend to everybody!!

Of course I may be somewhat bias but I think your colors are PERFECT! Congrats on a great Euro delivery and an amazing car! The carbon looks great as well. Thanks for sharing your experiences and I hope the wait goes quickly for you.
