991 50th anniversary model

No one's mentioned it yet but did you happen to notice the front grilles are bright metal, not painted black or body color? Personally, I think all that brightwork is very period-correct for a 60s car but not sure I'd want it on my 21st century 911. I'm not saying it doesn't look good because I think it does, but in in an anachronistic sort of way.
If the Boxster Spyder became an instant collectible (1960 units sold), then this 50th anniversary special edition of 1963 units should also sell out and become collectible, too.

Those small classic touches look stunning, especially on the graphitgrey in my opinion. It's a modern sportscar with a classy retro touch wich pays tribute to the 50th anniversary.
But I may be biased, 'cause I ordered one

The only thing that did not happened from its press release back in April is specially design front lip. But what came as surprise is the sport classic wheels instead of originally planned carrera classic.
UK standard features still list old press release (must click on 'standard feature' link)

Wow. I bet in Switzerland, this car goes for 225k US$
In the US, it isn't in the configurator yet, but it says around 124k, but you add accessories and other options and we are looking at 140k and I bet anything the dealers won't give you any discounts or they will add 10k to this.

I guess you are right, I was expecting (and still hoping) a different specially designed front lip for 991 50th. The spasm front lip was never been called special design lip before if not mistaken.

I think PCNA charges this 50th anniversary car less than C2S when similarly equipped. A us100k for base C2S + power kit + bicolor full leather interior is already add up to around us125k. So someone is getting wider body, painted and special design wheels, aluminum dashboard trim, sport design steering wheel, complete deviating stiching, aluminum windows garnish, special like PTS paint, 50th special trimmed items, etc for free. Not to mentioned a limitation numbered car and once in a lifetime chance to be able to own the car for free. These alone should worth at least another 20k. But the fact that it worth priceless, I won't be surprised finding allocation is the hardest part in the US.
Well, if you like every option they put on there.
You forget the fact that dealers aren't going to discount these. If anything 10K or more over sticker.

Well, if the style fits someone, adding 10k is still a bargain IMO.
