991 50th anniversary model

Fortunatly it's not that expensive... It's around $180K-190K, depending on the options you choose. Baseprice is $168K. But you can get discounts. At least here in Switzerland. With those prices in the U.S. I can imagine there's a lott less space for discounts. You really are lucky people!
I think I'll stay in the US for a long time for that reason alone

I would stay in the US too if I was you! Maybe I will think about it if I should move to the US too! I have family living in Ventura (CA) and I really like it over there. Who knows... Maybe in the future I will

What date is that factory delivery? I haven't decided yet if I'm going to collect my car at the factory or not. Didn't have much time today. Only had a quick visit at the dealership. (They were very busy too... Lot of anniversary cars sold today I guess).
Would be a nice idea to meet up at the factory.

Little bit off-topic, but I thought I should share it.
I think it's kinda cute . Two of the biggest Icons together in a photoshoot.

I was toying with the idea of ordering a new C2S. I went to the Porsche World Roadshow and felt that that model far surpassed the three other cars driven around the track. While taking my time mulling over the options lists, I came across the announcement of the Anniversary Edition. I'm now the proud owner-to-be of a graphite version with PDK. As for other options, it's not yet clear what additional goodies will be offered. However, the car is being built with virtually everything I could want, and I expect it will be an instant classic and a thrill to own. My salesman informed me that he personally had three other calls on the car today, and he knew of at least three more in his dealership.
The retro touches look great to my eye, with one exception. I'm not totally sold on the cloth inserts as I think I might tire of it, so I'll elect the leather option. Other than that, I think there's a superb mixture of old and new.
Now, if anyone knows of someone looking for a pristine, highly optioned '07 C2S, guards red on full black leather with 3,800 miles (was a Sunday driver), let me know

My first sports car was a red mini cooper s with white top. It was the most fun and practical car to own in Paris. As pictured they were tiny, but roomy and there wasn't a parking spot too small for this micro sports car!

Congrats !
can't wait to see the pics when u get it.
I think the 50th edition looks great.. it has a nice mix of classy and sporty.
like someone else said, unless u are gonna wait for the 100th anniversary edition, this might be once-in-a-life time opportunity to get something special.
Each of the cars has a two-tone 3D-effect badge on the rear lid with the numbers “911 50”.
i wonder how the 3D effect looks...

I'm not clear on the 3D badge either. From one pic, it looks like it may be a bit thicker possibly with more shadow effect.

Or maybe it's just because they think that 3D-effect sounds cool.
