New video 991 Targa
#1
Hi everyone,
Thought I should share this. A better look at the upcoming Targa, now without the roof on.
Notice this car also has the Sportdesign mirrors, so probably they will be in the configurator for the other 991 cars soon.

I love the Targa. Finally it looks again like a Targa and not like an ugly Carrera with a way to big sunroof.

Nope... Haven't heard anything for a while. I guess the car is finished testing or at least in the final fase. Maybe it's gonna be the big surprise at Frankfurt next month.... Although rumors are that the car will be introduced next spring.
There are several cars that have to be introduced in the coming half year and since it's the 911's 50th anniversary at Frankfurt, everybody expects some kind of surprise from Porsche. Can be the GT3 RS, the Targa, maybe a GTS, Turbo cabriolet, GT2.... It's only guessing.
I think in a couple of weeks we know more.... (At least I hope we do haha)

Thanks for posting the video Suzy, I hadn't seen it.
It looks like the rear window is a fixed solid glass piece and probably won't be able to fold like the original Targa did.
Also, you can see the rear LED light bar that is found on the Carrera 4/4S.
I'm glad Porsche is bringing the Targa back into production. But I still prefer the coupe or cabrio - I have a hunch that the Targa will be quite heavy for a 911.
