White 2014 911 (991) 4S with glass sunroof [photo shoot]
Hey guys, I went for a nice long drive to the Pyrenees to finish my running-in period (on 2700km at the moment), and figured I'd make some photo's of my car. They came out pretty good, so I thought I'd share some of them here.
Note: Back when I was ordering my car the black glass sunroof was something which kept me up at night... I was unsure if I liked it or not on the photos. I can tell you, in real-life, it is epic. I am super happy that I went for it. Everybody who I show my car gives me compliments about the roof. In person it looks 200% better than on the photos. So if some of you are on the fens about the glass sunroof, my advice is: DO IT.
The originals are 4288x2848, so if anyone wants those, I can upload them somewhere too.

Amazing pics!!!!! and car!!!!!!!
Im trying to figure out if I like the bottom part between the exhausts (rear aprong?) painted in white or not but I think I like it without after seeing your ride.

Depends on the color of the car, but on white I prefer it not-painted.

Haha, you mean my iPhone on the ground? I put it there as a reference to show the ground clearance for the SPASM suspension. The photos were taken with a Nikon D90

Wow! the pics look great, and so does the car.
There is one question I would love to ask a Porsche designer or engineer about the roof, though. If you know the car is going to be set up to take color that way, with the contrast roof, why don't they make the frame around the window a smooth straight line? The white gets thicker right at the top of the A pillar, then thinner at the top of the rear window. It seems to me that it would be much more pleasing to look at, and an overall more cohesive design, if that was consistent all the way across the top. Most other cars seem to get that part right, from Scion TCs to BMW M3s. Even the 997 Targa didn't have a consistent strip of color. It was smooth down the back of the car, but still got thicker right at the top of the front windshield.

In the flesh it looks very natural though. Maybe if that line was perfectly straight, the flow of the car wouldn't be the same.
Maybe it also has to do with the shape of the glass.
As I think now it's straight, then they would have had to use another shape.
