That looks like one of those nets that if you put something in it, it then gets lose and looks like an old man's chin...

If so, it should be under warranty. It's probably not for anything heavy, maybe an Ipad or something. Right now I tuck my Ipad between the passenger seat and centre console. This might be a better solution.

Try another browser. I know that in windows, the configurator doesn't work in Google Chrome.
Firefox definitely works. You also need the Unity webplayer plugin (link is provided in the Porsche configurator) and of course the latest version of Flash.
