Congratulations Suzi!!! That's what I did also. I ordered my 991 9 months before it was supposed to be delivered and they let me pick one off the pre-owned lot, buy it and then sell it back to them for the same price (as a trade-in) on the 991. I got really, really lucky on that one. They don't have that program any more.

Thank you Pictures are taken around Lake Zug or "Zuger See" as it is called here and the "Vierwaldstätter See". It's roughly between Zürich and Luzern, or actually a bit more south.

Beautiful! My mother is 1/2 Swiss and she had aunts and uncles who lived in Zurich, so I'm quite familiar with the area.

Suzy991, I was surprised to find that you had deleted your starter post in its entirety yesterday.

Whilst your reason for the deletion is "Not valid anymore", as there have been many replies on this thread I think the original post should have been left there.

Most threads will contain something of value to someone sometime. Deletions of the core/initial post are disruptive to discussions that follow on a thread and can sometimes be construed as being insulting to those who invested time in replying.

There are of course circumstances where they are ok to delete.... e.g. When they are incriminating, etc.
