Clear tail Lights

Hi..anyone change to the clear tail lights yet? looking for DIY instructions.

What color are the turn signals if you switch to clear tail lights in the US?

Would be interesting to see the clear lenses on a silver car. I am interested in that.

IMHO, I think the rear end needs the contrast provided by the regular lights.
It would be too silver as the clear lights also have a silver hue to them due to the internal mirror-like reflective material.

Just my $0.02

IIRC there are 2 versions of the clear tails, US and euro. The US clears have the red turn/brake signals just like the red tails. The euro tails have amber turns, but I don't think anyone's figured out how to code the car not to flash both red and amber signals on a US car with euro tails.

I was thinking that, too. Sometimes the wish to be different just looks ick!

For my cab it's just two retaining screws to remove if I remember right. It was completely pain free and took maybe five minutes. I love them every single day.
