I also installed the Blendmount for the V1 this weekend. Like the one for my NSX, the unit is well constructed, with enough adjustments to keep it's profile from obscuring much of the view out the windshield.
One installation tip, and one observation: To minimize view obstruction, set the vertical adjustment to the full up position before installing the unit as it'll be difficult to acces those set screws with the unit installed. Also, note that one downside of using the Blendmount is that a windshield shade may be a bit more difficult to put in position with the RD in it's cradle. A t least that was true for the custom 991 shade I'm using.
