We use XPEL Ultimate exclusively. I've tried venturshield, 3M, prestige, etc. Until Ultimate, I wasn't a fan of the clear film, but we installed it anyway since the protection was important. Now, as a detailer, I can remedy things like water spots, bird droppings, starches, etc. with XPEL Ultimate and can finally see this product of value. Oh, another feature of Ultimate, NO SWRILS. The film self-heals and no matter what untrained person washes your car, wherever you have film, it's difficult, not impossible, to swirls up.

Yeah that's on my list.. Probably pay for itself very quickly.. Since I'm going to use the DI on the whole families cars..
Was also going to investigate third party resin as well.. Lots of bulk sources in the water industry and fish tanks etc.. Figure as long as the ppi levels are good it shouldn't matter.. Any opinions or experience with that route? I suspect it's all probably the same industrial sources cr uses for their packets..

Just for clarification on this topic, XPEL does certify by the installer. We have spoken with GP and the regular installer to confirm that the work in these instances are being performed by a factory trained installer.
In a case where the sole installer leaves any shop, the certification follows the installer, however most businesses choose to send a replacement installer to training almost instantly to maintain the factory trained status.
Should anyone ever have any questions about any of our installer partners, we are always available at the main office to assist!

For those of you who have had an entire hood done, are all the edges wrapped? I assume they couldn't wrap every edge and the film would have small edges on certain sides?
Having a problem finishing someone who does the caliber of work that Glistening Perfection does around the Illinois/Wisconsin area.
Moe, road trip??

I saw a wrap on a car on a Boxster that a friend got through a socal Porsche dealer recently. Looked absolutely hideous with the edges especially as stuff collects over time.. Honestly I think I would forgo the wrap than to do it with edges visible.
