991 C4S same $ as 991 GT3, decisions

My dealer,s sales manager states he now has a GT3 allocation with a jan./Feb. 2014 delivery ETA. How do I confirm he is being truthful. Btw, he's given me no reason to doubt or question him, he was refered to me by a friend who just bought a c2s from him & was taken very good care of. I feel he is treating me like family, out of several Porsche dealers I visited he is offering me the best deal by far both on purchasing & my trade in as a whole. My list of sports cars is long but my most expensive purchase was a 2010 corvette grand sport convertible. I now have a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca (my favorite thus far) and a 2012 Nissan 370z NISMO Edition ( my gt3 for now). Any 991 would be my biggest car purchase so I want to have no regrets because after this purchase I'm done for a while.

Hi Haku & thanks a lot for understanding. These cars are about pure emotion. These purchases don't make sense to most people. As stated it won't be a daily driver, I'll probably drive maybe 3k miles per year. it won't be a family car so comfort & practicality is not a concern. I'll mostly be taking this car out for short spirited driving. I doubt I will have any regrets at all.
I would however recommend you sign up for a 2 day Porsche Driving School class. You'll love it and really get a super fast intro into 911's. You'll also end up enjoying the GT3 even more.
You're going to get yours well before me so I'd love to hear your hands on experience with the car.
Enjoy.

Stevie911- Remember, it's only a car. If you lust after it, can afford it, just get it!. As much as you now think it is the end all of all cars, it isn't.
In 1985, I fell in love with the Ferrari Testarossa. I thought it was "it". I bought one...loved it...fell out of love...sold it. I have had two GT3's. Both were periodically tracked and both were wonderful cars...sold them. I fell "in love" with the Ferrari Stradale. Bought it, drove it...sold it. Why? Because there is always something better, more exciting coming down the pike. Now if we were discussing the 918 or La Ferrari, limited production cars that MAY (I said MAY) be investments, that's a different ballgame.
Don't lament too long, life is too short.
