IMO the dark carpet does look pretty good. Porsche does this, for example, as standard on the two-Tone Black-Carrera red interior on the Turbo S.

I asume you're talking about the A-pilar? On a cab those are indeed covered in leather, on a coupe they are covered in Espresso alcantara, just like the B- and C-pilars (when opted for a full leather interior, which is always the case with a two-tone interior).

Thanks Suzy for the pictures. I went with the deviated carpets in expresso and the picture makes me feel a lot better that is was the right choice. Also, I think another must is the rear view mirror in leather, for the money its a cheap leather option.

It is a nice option indeed, although not that cheap IMO.
However, the problem is that you can't get the mirror in leather if you opt for the LED headlights, which are a must IMO. The camera, used by the PDLS+ system is built in the housing of the rearviewmirror and for some reason it can't be covered in leather (yet?).

Suzy, Why do you think the LED lamps are a must?
Thursday my order will be locked and I would like to be sure about this point.

It's not really a must, but in my humble opinion it is. I think they look awesome, the light may be slighly better, LED is the future in lighting, so resale value could be better (not sure) and the PDLS+ system seems to be a pretty nice feature. It offers two additional functions: automatic High Beam Assistant uses a camera integrated into the interior mirror to record light sources from vehicles in front and oncoming traffic. As you approach a crossing, Intersection Assistant improves illumination of the area directly surrounding the vehicle

That said... It is not a really cheap option, but IMO worth the money.

One note to all, with Espresso dash area the black plastic pieces and mirror almost take hue of the Espresso and is only noticeable in some lighting conditions. Otherwise it really blends in.

Anyone know how much the deviating carpet option is?
