You really think the gains are skeptical? Pretty standard if you ask me. This mod is more for sound than anything else.

The car in the video had PSE from the factory and the setting for the entire video was in normal mode, so at the beginning, they are closed.

Dont you mean, the the video was in Sport mode (Valve Open) for the entire video, except for the start-up at the begining?

Our valves work just like the factory if you don't hit the button. So they are closed until you reach the threshold where they open. The entire video was shot in the normal mode. Not the sport mode.

I can see how that is confusing. Did that clarify?

Akra has zero drone as well, unless the valves are open then there is a little.

Is this louder than FVD?
In terms of percentage, how louder do you think the sound increases related to PSE?

I was not aware of a "threshold where they open" in normal mode. I'm still breaking in though, so maybe I just haven't been there yet :-)

No worries. Hope this clarifies.

So the car in the video had the PSE from the factory. The button still works and can be pressed to bypass the factory mufflers, just like OEM PSE. If you don't press the button the valves work the same way that a non PSE would operate. Meaning that depending on how agressive your throttle application is, the valves will open and close.

So in the beginning of the video, the car was started and revved without the button being pressed. The gasses were still going through the factory side mufflers. However, when the car was being driven, it was being driven agressively enough where the valves would open on their own.

Bottom line is that the valves work identically to the OEM PSE or non PSE exhaust.

I have not heard a PSE in person, so I can't comment.

With the valves closed it is about 10-12% louder, and with the valves open I would say about 20-30% louder. Most importantly, there is zero drone. So that should make the PDK guys really happy.

Is your car an S model? Reason being, only the S cars have valves from the factory. It is those that would display a tone change.

I also just asked my lead engineer something that has not come up yet. If you are an S car with or without PSE, the factory valves will open at right around 3400 rpm.
