Headlight Condensation

Did anyone notice condensation in their headlights? I noticed that today after I drove in the rain.
I'll be reporting that to the dealer and have it checked.

Normal, they are designed to allow outside air in/out.

Dealer replaced my right side due to heavy condensation. Started happening for no apparent reason. Left side never did it.

Manual says it is normal. Disappears after headlights are on for awhile.

The rear taillights do it as well when we wash 991s....I'm assuming this is part of the design. Not sure of the purpose

My 991 is on order so I have not experienced it yet on the 991 but I have lived with this on my Audi S4.

The problem is that as time passes the constant condensation and drying cycles leaves water spots and eventually dirt inside the headlights. It's quite visible, and disappointing, on my S4. If my 991 does it I will definitely complain to the dealer. My Audi is proof that in time, in my case 20,000 miles, the dirty lenses will reduce the output of the headlights and that is a safety issue.

Mine was rear tail condensation....dealer replaced both.

Same story all over again.

Decided to live with it. Per the dealer SA, I was the "only" one who had the problem.

I have the opposite issue. When the car is stationary ie off, the lens is clear. Once I start driving, misting starts to occur after 20 minutes of driving. After 3-4 hours of parking. It slowly clears again. I just think living along the westcoast cold climate is exacerbating the condensation?

Living in NY would likely have the same types of temperatures here in Vancouver. Do you notice it all the time or only once the temperature drops colder? I only started noticing this after I replaced both headlight bulbs. But at the same time the temperature got colder and wetter. How long does intake for yours to clear up?

I had condensation in a M Coupe BMW (Z3). Dealer replaced both headlights under warranty. Sealed units sometimes aren't so sealed.
