Top speed is slower for 4s by 3 miles. At 187&184, not sure thats huge
4s has bigger fuel tank, smaller trunk space

Just wanted to clarify things for the OP
I never stated that is was slower 0-60. I simply said the C4S is "slower", which it is. The reason for the quotes in my original post was to highlight the insignificance (tongue in cheek).

Thank you for correcting the smaller tank mistake. Meant bigger and smaller respectively, as you rightly pointed out.

To the OP, I think your car can be located without a special order as shown by Blackspeed. And a C4S is probably the more appropriate car given your location.

I would not recommend inquiring about seats, as it depends on your build and weight. The issue of comfort is far too subjective.
For instance, my wife who is petite and bordering on Oompa Loompa, finds the seats spacious and comfortable. I, on the other hand, find them to be uncomfortable after several hours of driving.

Best to sit in them for yourself..

Thanks for all the replies. I'm getting pretty excited, hard to focus on anything else. Since this is first 911, quick question (and it might be dumb) - Is it worth getting the 50th anniversary addition? Any big differences?

Also, I'm a bit worried getting PASM with is bc it drops the car and NYC/metro roads can be dangerous. Also, anyone get sport tailpipes with the sport exhaust. Look good?

Thanks - hate that I have to wait 3 months after I order!

My salesman, Bart Palmisano from Ray Catena Porsche in Edison, NJ has almost your exact spec as his personal car. If you are not far I would recommend checking them out as I have been very happy dealing with them since 1989. The first time I saw the PDLS in black was on his car and it looks incredible. Same with the black wheels. He also has the model designation on the side door in black which I think works on that combo. And the glass roof is a must have IMHO. Same for sport chrono. Good luck and let us know what you decide!j

Don't worry about the NYC roads. I live in the city. I have PDCC with SPASM so lowest variant. I have 15mm spacers on the rear and no issue. Only time I have scraped the front lip has been coming out of gas stations or mall lots sometimes, but nothing serious. 20k miles so far and all good.

50th Anniv edition is a personal choice. What I like about it is it's the C4(S)'s wide body on the 2wd car - like the 1997 993 C2S (of which I am also a proud owner)

jpit11 - I heard good things from Paull Miller Porsche. I was going to go out there this Saturday, but the weather sucked. We spent about an hr on the phone. They seemed fair on the price, but not great. Also talked to Roslyn (best price so far) and Manhattan Motor Cars. I was going to talk Larchmont tomorrow. I'll check out Ray Catera, thanks

Yeah sorry, my intention was not to correct you or not, but I just wanted to doublecheck for myself on those details since I have one on order and didn't think too much about those details till you mentioned it. Wanted to know myself and note to OP

I've had a great experience at Paul Miller Porsche (both sales and service/ parts). I wouldn't worry about PASM on NYC roads. I have a C2S with SPASM and have had no issues. Just be careful with driveways, especially in gas stations and parking garages. But the front lip is a rubber piece, so no big deal if it scrapes a tiny bit.
