My new 2014 7MT C2S Cab
Picked up my first 911 yesterday, an Agate Gray C2S cabrio.
The specs:
2014 Carrera S Cabrio
Agate Gray exterior, black top
Black full leather interior
PSE
Sport Chrono
PDCC
7MT
Burmester
Front/Rear Park Assist
Power Steering Plus
Smokers Package
14 way Sport Seats
Premium Package Plus - includes heated/ventilated seats, Entry & Drive, light design package
PDLS lights in black
Model Designation Delete
Multi-function wheel
Some bad cell phone pics attached. Car currently has winter wheels on (base 911 19s), but come summer I have Carrera Classics in storage and waiting to go on.
Put around 150 miles on yesterday, and havent really wrung it out at all yet as it is still breaking in (note on that - my dealer said "forget about the break in, just drive it", but I will take it easy for a bit).
Came out of an E90 M3. Loved that car, but the warranty was coming up and was afraid of long term maintenance costs, and my wife was pushing for a convertible. Always make the wife happy... Power delivery actually seems pretty similar between the two cars - not a ton of torque down low, but very linear as the RPMs grow. Obviously the Porsche is much lighter on its feet and you can feel it. Fit and finish seems excellent, and cant find any rattles which is pretty amazing considering it is a cab...
