Nope. Scatkins and Fester got it right.
For that money, you can get a fully loaded 3LT w/Z51 Stingray. It will do anything a 911 for $75k could do (probably better), and still be under warranty.

If you still wanted to go with a 911, might I suggest a low mileage 2000 to 2005 996 turbo for around 45-48k? Leaves a lot of money on the table for mods and future repairs. 996tt is the best bang for the buck turbo out there. Just need a good ppi...

No, just someone trying to find out a little info.. Hopefully we can share a little knowledge..
The trolls are the folks who post how great a [Insert car type here] in the 911 forums. And then argue it mindlessly for 97 posts..

Hi Skyhasher, sorry if I came accross as an ahole to you, that certainly was not my intention. I just meant that because I own a 991 and not a 997, I know much less about that specific generation of 911. And people that actually own and drive the car you are looking for have much more knowledge about it than people that have a different generation. And the differences can be rather significant !
Oh no! You didn't at all! I totally understand!

At that budget, unless you have a specific reason/desire for a Porsche, the Vette Z51 is probably the way to go. Would test drive that, the Jaguar F-type, the Boxster/Cayman S, and maybe the new M3 if it's released out in time.
