thats a nice color combo, but im not really a fan of the red steering wheel, or even the stock steering wheel. That's why i opted for the sport design, doesn't look all plasticy.
i love 911's. up until the 991 redesign, especially the interior, i've been hesitant to pull the trigger on the 911. Im super picky with loving a car all around. The 991 along with GT3's are the best all around car in my opinion. Quality, performance, daily driver, technology and style.

Handsome is an interesting adjective, I would call it sexy. Put a white glove on and rub a C4S fender and take two steps back and look at the car from the 3/4 view. Man, there is nothing like it. Porsche=Hips & Power, especially with 315ZR19's tires (GT3RS) inside those rear fenders. Sorry about the imagery, I'm a writer.

It's got those heavenly curves that no other automobile on the planet has!! It's an eye candy ...!! There's gotta be something that I could spend hours just looking at it....not sure if there's anything else on 4 wheels that can equal it!!

"Porsche to me are like babies, no matter how ugly it is, only the mother could appreciate it's beauty." -ynot

Of course the 911 and in particular the 991 is beautiful!.... why the heck else would we keep buying them? I would however define "beautiful" in automobile terms as Ferry Porsche states:
"It has always been a philosophy of our company that function and beauty are inseparable."
"Beauty as an end in itself is out of place in automobile manufacturing."

The 911 is and has always been a true Bauhaus car in that its form follows its function, i.e., function comes first and form follows where function dictates. There's very little in the way of unnecessary gewgaws to be found in the 991 so as a statement of form following function, the 991 is indeed a beautiful thing from a purpose viewpoint; but from a purely aesthetic viewpoint, there are far prettier and sexier cars out there, IMO, albeit more expensive ones.

I have always liked the looks of the 911, I now really want to find a nice 1970-1973 to restomod.
As far as the newer ones I have not been so crazy about them until I came up with the right model/color/option car now that I have come up with what I think is the best combination I can't sleep, it's all I think about is driving it on these great, curvy Cali roads and seeing it in my garage, it's like a slim, fit, athletic mistress compared to the Bentley!

Hunh, funny, I thought owners of 911's would almost universally think it was beautiful, regardless of viewing it as a he or as she.. mentally..
But I guess it show's how different individuals look at such things. A woman can be seen as exotic some and to others ugly.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
Personally I could never own/drive a car that I wasn't enamored with, any more than I could marry someone who I wasn't enamored. Maybe that's why I always think of my cars as "she's"..
But for the record I think the 911 is a beautiful, but maybe as compared to Bentley (which is a gorgeous car) I'd consider that a Beauty queen and the 911 more on the athletic side but still beautiful..

Ok, we are all enthusiasts here so I understand the context of the art vs. purpose argument. Athletic and beautiful is a bit more difficult for me. Let me give some perspective to the thread. I find the older E-Type Jags elegant, Astons athletic, Ferraris extravagant, and Lambos brash and abrasive. Porsche on the other hand are pretty cars to me especially 964, and 993. It's all a matter of taste but in the end we all love the car with the engine in the booty.
