As far as the newer ones I have not been so crazy about them until I came up with the right model/color/option car now that I have come up with what I think is the best combination I can't sleep, it's all I think about is driving it on these great, curvy Cali roads and seeing it in my garage, it's like a slim, fit, athletic mistress compared to the Bentley!
Which model of Bentley do you have?

I'm on my third Bentley Conti convertible with the Mulliner interior and even after 5 years owning and driving them, I'm still enamored of their looks and regularly configure my next one online.

Having had 11, I have always thought they were beautiful! This was my 1970.

I have always liked the iconic shape of 911's and think the newest model is better looking than older ones. But I like the overall simplicity of older ones more than the computer like 991. 911's traditionally have been the polar opposite of something like an Aston. Porsche has been about making a pure everyday sports car and if the engineers could throw in a creature comfort or two without sacrificing performance that was OK. Contrasted with an Aston which is designed to be more of a piece if exclusive beauty, that has performance aspects as a benefit. I always liked the engineering and performance first mindset of Porsche. They are changing over time though.

I agree with the OP by the way.... Porsches are beautiful (well most of them).

As a general rule of thumb,
  • Louboutin Wheels = red centers
  • Louboutin Shoes = red soles

But, if we are considering cars as sculptures, to my taste, Porsche, Maserati and Aston Martin are probably the top three most pleasing to the eye makes (although not all models), in that order.

Ferraris typically seem a bit overwrought (and the new LaFerrari looks like a giant insect), and Lamborghini and McLaren look like they are trying too hard to look like the "car of the future". (Aston Martin seems to be trending that way, as well.) I don't find the Audi R8 attractive at all, the back end is disproportionally long.

As far as 991s go, I generally find them more pleasing to the eye in proportion to body width, and even though wings don't generally appeal to my aesthetic sensibilities, I think the Turbos are the best looking of the line, especially comparing the various cabriolet models. The Carrera Cabriolet is my least favorite of the 991s, the Turbo Cabriolet my favorite. (That's looking at them with the top down.) The wing on the GT3 makes it my least favorite of the 991s, considering only its outward appearance.

Clearly, I prefer curves to sharp angles, and I don't see aggressiveness as a necessary attribute in judging the beauty of a car.

Hahaha I agree with you

However, I also agree with Sanibel, that there are better looking cars. The 911 just has almost something of everything. It looks good, yet functional and it is distinctive, below the radar (with some exceptions).
I like the curved lines of the 911, espacially on the 991 generation, where they seem to be more in proportion.

That said... Nothing beats this car in terms of sheer beauty:
