No performance benefit at these speeds, but I may start using Sport Plus more.
With the manual, is there any difference in Sport and Sport Plus, other than the rev matching?

Sport plus is on always for me except on my street if early morning or later in the evening. No regrets whatsoever in getting this fabulous transmission.

Love my MT (3500 miles on it) - great shifting feel, so much more fun than buttons or (god forbid) auto mode. Not tracking, not traffic-ing, just enjoying.

MY only semi-regret is not getting SC/Sport+ - I didn't really want the clock and there weren't any obvious benefits with the MT when I ordered since rev matching got added just after that. Rev match would have been fine, more aggressive throttle response is the thing I think I would like most. Normal mode (and this is presumably true for MT or PDK), the throttle is on the soft side - lift and it takes a while for the engine to respond, giving it gas is also not particularly enthusiastic.

So do consider that, but Sport is great and it's really a great shifter if that's what you're looking for - just such a pleasure to drive every time you take it out. And FWIW, 7th is a non-issue unless you're just cruising on the highway, it's effectively a 6-speed (or 4?) for most back roads.

Agree-SC is a fantastic option on the 7MT. It really changes the engine throttle response. You would have to pretty numb not to notice. The sport plus button really tightens up the engine oscillation and makes the entire care much more solid feeling under aggressive driving. Honestly shocked to hear so many mention it is not necessary with MT-completely false if you ask me.
