Placebo? Different Shifting Delays in Diff Steering Wheels; Same 991

Hi All,

Car came stock with the PDK Steering Wheel for Sport Plus. Shifted just fine, minor negligible delay when shifting on demand.

Wanted Paddle Shifters. Purchased a Porsche Panamera Sport Design Steering Wheel. Got this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181280502173...84.m1439.l2649 It fit my car just fine. However, there was noticeable delay in shifting on demand, when driving in Sport mode and downshifting, for example. When I am actively shifting and already accelerating, there is a much less noticeable delay. But the Panamera Steering wheel did not light up for Sport and Sport Plus so I started looking for another wheel.

I got a 997 Steering Wheel. I got this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171206792377...84.m1438.l2649 After installing, the steering felt tighter (this must be placebo as it doesn't make any sense otherwise). Also the shifts are lightning fast now, even on demand. The 991 is even more enjoyable to drive now.

So now I am very ... was it all just placebo?

or did my car coincidentally break-in and start performing better?
