991 Facelift

I agree. Thank god I bought a 991.1
It will be interesting to see if there are engine changes as well. Autoblog is reporting that the 991.2 will have some new engine options (even start to move to smaller displacement flat6 or flat4 with a turbo).
The Fuchs-style 5 spoke wheels on the middle pictures do convince me that I need to get some 20" 5 spoke wheels for summers on my car (and keep my 19" wheels for winter tire duty). I like the 5 spoke style on the 991.

Smaller flat 6 (turbo'd)? Quite possible. We've seen with the Macan that Porsche is willing to simultaneously sell both an S Model and a Turbo Model that each have turbos.

Not a fan right now, but I'm sure it will grow on me. The vents on the sides of the rear bumper cover make me think Turbo Charging may be coming.

I've read some rumors that the EU cycle six emission regulations could spell the end of the naturally aspirated flat6. No clue if there's any truth in that, but I'm glad I have a 991.1 regardless.

MY2016 i guess. since the MY2015 Targa just came out with the current look we won't see the facelift car until 2015 as MY2016. if that's the case it would match the 7 year 991 production plan.

Maybe Porsche will resurrect the 912 nomenclature, and offer it as an entry level model?
Personally, I hope not... Too much brand erosion would occur.

The gap in the Porsche sports car lineup, to the extent there is one, is between the Turbo and the 918... hence rumors of the 960. That makes sense to me and I'll bet it makes it to production.

There is something off about the front fascia of the turbo, including the leds on the bumper, and the lip that gives it a underbite.
