Stainless door sills-different design than 997
Just a note: I ordered a set of stainless door entry guards and they are different than those from 997 vintage. The 997 style mounted basically flush to the surface of the car; these 991's are attached to a plastic piece that appears to snap onto the car via two protrusions, and is also backed with some adhesive, but not the glue-type stuff found with 997's.
So, while they aren't flush, the 991 style appears easier to install. Just a shot across the bow for those that are considering them.

I have these also, I ordered as Tequipment but had to take delivery of the parts after the car. The original sills are a bit of a paint to remove. Quite a bit of the original adhesive remains after pulling (and ruining) the original factory installed pieces (3M Adhesive remover). Interestingly, the original pieces are several inches longer than the Stainless option so be careful not to scratch the paint when removing the original pieces.
No snap btw, I think those holes in the body are for wired versions and to simply line them up.
I have mine removed but have not yet installed the new one, too cold here yet in Milwaukee.
