That takes care of any issues resulting from the front wheels not spinning and gives an accurate reading on the dyno.
I just ordered the Cargraphic TS pipe also....can't wait to put it on

Your subjective impression would be consistent with what the Akra guys measured on theirs....
Never heard about a dyno mode on the 991. Sounds like you have MT? That would explain it. With PDK, looks like you need a belt linked 4-wheel dyno.

Amazing! Glad to hear that you went ahead with it, Tom. You'll love it. It transforms the car into a beast.

Yes, I do have the 7MT. Are you sure PDK requires the 4-wheel dyno? I haven't heard of many modern 2wd cars needing such a system. I can ask my shop when I swing by on Monday.

If you are swinging by the shop anyway, would be great if you can ask. Would also be interesting to know where they got the rev signal from ... The ecu wires don't seem to work for an inductive pickup, I've now wrapped wire around one of the ignition coils (under the heat shield underneath the engine) and will see if that does the trick...

Got the Cargraphic TS x-pipe installed this week ... attached a quick-and-dirty iPhone video around the neighborhood. Will take better video at the track next month. I do like the sound. Pretty loud (maybe also since I got the fabspeed headers?). If you switch the valves, it's as quiet as stock though ....

Quick question! Where did you order your CG x-pipe?

Ordered it directly from Cargraphic in Germany - Chris put me in touch with their sales guy at m.mergenthaler@cargraphic.de . They ship to the U.S., but you have to fill out a fedex customs form once it's in transit, and Fedex separately sent me a $100 bill for customs ... not a problem though

That's fantastic, Tom. I'm happy that you finally got it! Sounds beastly. It definitely sounds a bit louder/high-pitched compared to mine, but that is precisely the effect of your headers. That's what I discussed in multiple threads: how I wanted to get that higher-pitch sound with a combination of headers and an x-pipe.

"Pretty loud" is accurate.

Chris - thanks for the comment, and for putting me in touch with the Cargraphic folks. Yes, the higher pitch is consistent with the effect the headers had on the regular PSE also. Plus the X51 also adds a little bit of shriek.
I did a before and after dyno comparing stock PSE setup to just putting in the Fabspeed headers (w/ modified O2 sensor locations) ... 14 RWHP gain between ~3200-4000 RPM; no gain anywhere else, 1.5 RWHP loss at the top end (though that could be difference in temperature etc...who knows). Will do another comparison with the x-pipe + headers setup in a few weeks.

Great; I'm looking forward to your gains with the x-pipe. Like I said, the mid-range feels stronger.

Also, I completely forgot to ask my shop about the dyno questions you had. I'll drop them a call today.

really sounded great. Like the tone down low instead of that higher pitch whine.

Installation was $300. It took about 1.5 hours to install it, but another hour or so of tweaking the system and aligning the pipes.

I bought the system itself from a forum member, but you can contact Cargraphic's German headquarters directly. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll give you my contact's info for a sweet deal.

Thanks. It definitely is deeper and lower compared to systems with headers. I was actually after that high-pitched whine, but I decided to mod the system one part at a time and see how I like the sound.
