Boy, you got that right! I lost two tires recently to potholes - I have lost maybe two in the entire rest of my driving life (which, frighteningly is getting ever closer to 40 years long). Makes me wonder if I should switch the 991 to run flats when the wheel and tire insurance runs out!

Forgetting about the impact it might have on ride quality (I've never driven a car with run-flats but I've heard bad things), does anyone make run-flats in a tire size to fit a 991? Not sure about that.

I look forward to your pictures - you car looks great now. I also agree I like the option of changing. But given our roads and weather lately, in Nov-Apr all my car is likely to need for wheels are cinderblocks!
