NOOOOOOO! Rear fender ding

A late afternoon Flex therapy session ended with the discovery of a very faint quarter length ding in the passenger side rear quarter in front of the rear wheel. No paint disturbed.

I purchased wheel tire glass chip and dent removal (where paint is not involved)
Called and put in a claim. They will call me soon

Anyone have any experience with these outfits? Any success? Any horror stories?

Paintless dent repaint should be able to fix it and you will not know it was ever dented. As for claims, I never had an issue with it either.

Thanks. I was concerned as it seems like magic - too good to be true

I've seen them remove dents that you thought were impossible. Ask the tech if he can remove it first. I've found most of them to be very honest.

Wear your road rash with pride. The car will only be pristine if you never drive it.

Sorry to hear about your ding, but I'm confident (and hope) it will be fixed to your satisfaction. It's bad when you do something to your own car, but it's really hard to come back to it and find damage without explanation or apology.

Thanks I'm not surprised and purchased the insurance as I anticipated such behavior.

I have the door ding guy come by my house once a year and do all my cars/trucks. They are excellent and you never know it was there. Don't sweat it.

I have almost the same description. I was parked and a truck opened their door and left a ding on same fender. Breaks my heart. I'm glad it is on passenger side.

Any recommendation for a dent repair in NorCal? How do I find a good one?

Fear not. Some s@&$ h%#£ opened their truck door into my driver's side door and left a 3" verticals crease 72 hours after I brought it home. The dent wizard waved his wand and made it disappear!
