First Porsche 2012 Carrera S (only drove it in warm weather months), purchased April 2012, sold December 2013 with 18,000 miles and no problems
Current: 2014 Carrera 4S. Couldn't deal with going non-P-car in the winter. Picked it up two weeks ago and 1500 miles (dying to get through the break in period ASAP)

Thanks EG! I can't tell from your profile picture , do you have black wheels or the platinum finish? I love the 991 in white and your window tint looks pretty nice as well. What % did you go? I had all the options and build done with this one and the exterior color was the final decision

This is my third Porsche and second 911. All of them I have thoroughly enjoyed - a couple of hundred thousand kilometres of motoring bliss

2006 987S Boxster S (new) - Daily driver - Had it for four years and put 93,000 km on it!

2009 997.2 3.6 Carrera (new) - Daily driver - Had it for four years and put 98,000 km on it!

2014 991 Carrera S (new) - just picked up Dec 2013 and currently have 2,500 km on it.

The two track pictures are approx. one year apart - notice the same skid marks on the track!!

Zmoney, thanks so much. Those are actually the Carrera Classic rims (they have sort of a platinum finish). I run my summer tires on the Carrera Classics that I got with the car and then bought a set of standard (silver) Carrera S rims with Michelin Pilot PA4s to run in the winter. They were great this past winter, but I was happy to actually put the Carrera Classics back on today. I got a 35% tint on the side windows and the rear windows. It's illegal here in NY (got stopped once but got off after showing a PBA card) but it really complements the sunroof in glass . . .

EG - the tint does really complement your sunroof, had to look twice to see it actually. Good to hear that you DD even in the winter. I just got my 4S so I've just kept the summer tires on and gone gently in some of the colder days that Cleveland has still had in late march. Next winter though I am preparing for some smaller (19") winter wheels and snow tires. Uncertain whether the Pirelli sottozeros or MIchelin's are going to win out
