Caractere rear spoiler installed

Finally had the Caractere rear spoiler installed today. I think it looks quite nice. The OEM 991 spoiler still functions normally!

I love that the OEM spoiler isn't messed with if it's already powered up and down. I tried to get information on this almost two years ago and couldn't get a word for certain on how it works. I couldn't believe these companies put out the products and then no customer service for those in the states on exactly how everything works. Anyway, very nice - we have to rely on someone who installs one to tell us! Thanks. Your car looks great.

Looks nice in the down position. Not sure I like it when the spoiler goes up though. How does it install?

Hey guys thanks for the feedback. Yes I thought it would be useful to post some "oem spoiler up" pics for those interested in this aftermarket spoiler as I had searched and searched and searched the Web relentless to no avail of any proof that the the oem would still work ok. I took a chance and bought it anyways and thank goodness it is ok and clearance is fine! ;-)

The reason I picked this spoiler is because I did not want to go to the dealer to deactivate the oem spoiler and can revert back to original condition with minimal effort.

For sure it looks better when the oem spoiler is retracted but it only comes up at hwy speeds over 130km/HR so I don't mind.

Here is another shot of my car on the hwy with sunroof open so the oem is up at the highest. Still ok!

Very nice! I like it with the factory piece in the down position. Looks good!
