Not exactly a video about my 50th, or exclusive to 991s, but I went to the Dundarave Show and Ride on Sunday. It was a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Here's a walk around video of most of the cars that showed up.

Not as much video footage as I wanted because a lot of people kept coming up to me and asking about the colour and wanting to see inside. The weather wasn't great either. It poured on us around noon. Last year there were Carrera GTs and other cars that I think were scared of the weather this year.

German Car Festival at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver, B.C. yesterday. This is where the local Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi clubs show up.

I have multiple videos on my YouTube channel, but I thought I'd put the Porsche one up here as it is somewhat relevant.

A friend of mine was at the dealership and looking into getting a 991 cab, so I stopped by to give some support. While I was there, they were just delivering the first targa in Vancouver and I took a quick video.


While I was there, I also took the opportunity to take the Macan S out for a drive.

Do you mind sharing how you placed your phone holder?
I guess it blocks the cup holder that we never use...lol

Nice videos. I hate the stupid Macan. I shouldn't care so much, but I hate it.

 

Thanks. The phone mount I use is the T-Design mount. A forum member on here or Rennlist makes them. It goes in the thing gap where the PCM screen is and does block use of the left cup holder, which is no issue for me because of my no drink rule.

Thanks Matt. I am not a SUV guy myself, but my sales guy had asked me to give him my thoughts on the car. Not something I would pick up necessarily, but the car isn't horrible.

Not exactly an exclusive update on my 911-50, but I attended at the last Coffee and Cars here in Vancouver for this summer (we usually get a lot of rain in the fall) and thought I'd share photos.

This is a 912 conversion to electric power.

Went for a quick morning cruise with my friend and decided to snap a few photos since the dock was open at Horseshoe Bay. He'll be sending me some photos he took on his camera later, but here is a teaser I took with my phone.
