I guess you love them or hate them. I love them. Probably going to shy away from chrome. Stick the the black and brushed. My wife's Escallade has chrome rims. That's plenty for my garage.

Super beautiful 50th *****. Wish they made that in a cab. Love.

So, this is pretty much what the car will look like. Except I've got a cab. And my car is a 991.

Sorry to so disappoint you Speedsterr. I will work very hard in the future to make sure that you are pleased.

Don't worry about it . I only really like HREs for aftermarket rims. I think stock rims are fine.

I agree with speedster, stock rims actually looks better, I think this is the fist time in my life I've ever said that. Those classic fuchs only look good on classics. The 991 has modern lines and deserves something more modern.

Mesh style always looks good on 911's

or something like this.

Those wheels look different than the original pictured. Those are more inline with the originals. I like those.

Many thanks, Alec. I'm too lazy to create and monitor a journal thread on both 6 Speed and Rennlist (though I tip my hat to Serge, Matt and the others who manage it), but I've added a link in my sig to my intro thread if you're curious.

Update-

I received the Fuchs rims from TAG Motorsports the other day. Due to some issues they just didn't work out. I contacted Alex at TAG and he was SUPER great about making it right and now I have on order some very pretty HRE P40SC's in brushed with clear. I can't begin to tell you how AWESOME these guys are to work with. Highly recommend. Buy wheels from Alex. He is the man!

Probably going to be another month before I get these but I think they're going to look great on my cab.

Thanks!

This is the new wheel going on my cab in case you're not familiar. It's sort of a classic mesh wheel I guess. Need a little bling to my Agate grey cab with Agate grey wheels. Boosh! Bring on the HRE's!

I have yet to see an aftermarket wheel that looks good on a 991... Not a fan of aftermarket wheels anyways.
Fuchs wheels look good on old 911, not on the new ones.

No. I happen to like them quite a bit myself. I personally still like some shine to my wheels also, and polished looks great in my opinion. A nice simple 5 spoke design never fails in my book.

I admire your desire to do something outside of the box.
