looks great, congrats!
It looks great, did you do the wheels too?

I still love Zaino (although I only use the Z6 & Z8 sprays nowadays)
I've "Zaino'ed" my fair share of cars over the years (lots of BMWs I've owned)
I'm partial to Menzerna for the last 4-5 years--in fact I need to buy more detailing goodies, I'm due.

Zaino'd mine recently, too, with two layers of polish with Z6 in between and Z8 Grand Finale at the end. Really brought out depth in the paint. Love their stuff.

Had my entire hood, front bumper, mirrors and in front of rear tires all done with Xpel Ultimate today. Had a conversation with detailer about CQuartz and the look and durability. After years of Zaino use I am considering it. It would be great to hear what the forum has to say.

My black car has CQuartz finest, I used Opti in the past.

I went with CQ this time because it has more depth and a bit more shine to it then Opti. Neither honestly look as good as wax or a good synthetic product like Zaino(also used that and a host of other products).

I DD my car so thats why I go this route, after a horrid winter, the paint has held up very well(I don't really wash the car in winter time though).

Its a trade off between shine and protection. If you love the deep wet look of wax or Zaino, then it might not be for you, or if you enjoy detailing it. I'll admit, I hate detailing my car.

Most important thing with CQ or Opti is to have a good detailer really prep the car well, get rid of any surface scratches or swirls cause it will look worse after.

Are those the Turbo side markers??? They really nice and flat.

The side markers are the new LED's. They fit very nice and lay flush with the fenders. Look great lit too.

I've tried everything but always come back to Zaino. Z2 just looks better and last longer.
Been using Zaino for 20 years.

Awesome shine! and DIY can be half the fun!

I have never used Ziano, but have used a product called Pinnacle Souveran. (Click on link) It really has a dramatic shine, and I consistently get thumbs up as well as positve comments. I mean even from other Bimmerfester's...

I was curious if anyone here has used it and how it compares..?

Black car=black wax

I use Black Diamond. Great depth of shine and because its black, none of those ugly white traces of missed wax!

Zaino for me too all the way (also Guards Red)...

I know a detailer in S. Jersey just off turnpike who only uses Zaino products. Recommended to me by Sal himself. PM me if anyone in the area is interested. He does excellent work and prices are extremely reasonable.
