Being searching but can't find specific instruction on how to remove PSE exhaust tip for a 991 C2S. Sound like just a simple screw removal, etc...

Could someone points me in the right direction. Need to know what tools are needed, etc...

After further consideration, I have decided to just get my tips ceramic coated in satin blue to match the car.

 

Not sure how the tips will look in blue, but I'd love some more information on the removal process.

 

On a C2 with the square tips, its a single E12 torx bolt. E stands for external and its a torx. Loosen up and take right off.

 

My 2012 991 C2S's tips are held together by torx head cap screw. Just like in the picture. If you look under the exhaust tisp, you will see a single torx head cap screw. Use a 10mm hexagon socket or a torx socket to loosen the screw/bolt. After that, a little bit of wiggling and the tip should come straight out.
